Running Win 7. My hard drive is divided in C and D. All my programs are in D. In fact, once you look for the sub-folders under the name, you will find other folders related to different application installed on the computer. If the folder is consuming too much space on the hard drive, it could be due to some of the files related to certain application installed on the computer which you may not know about.
You might browse around a bit and find out which one it is in the folder. If any of the file name that looks or related to any application which you do not use or require on the computer, you may go ahead and uninstall the application from Control Panel. However, application developers still divide different types of data between different folders just in case.
If a program wants to have a single set of settings or files that are used by multiple users, it should use the ProgramData folder instead. For example, an antivirus application might keep its scan logs and settings in ProgramData and share them with all users on the PC. For example, Google Chrome stores all its settings and your user data in the Local folder, while we might expect it to store these settings in the Roaming folder instead.
Others may store data in the registry , or in a folder elsewhere in your system. On Windows, application developers can store data wherever they like. Most Windows users should never even need to know this folder exists.
You may then be able to copy that folder to the same place on a new computer and the program will use the same settings. Whether this will work really depends on the programs—some programs store their settings in the registry, for example, or elsewhere on the system.
Many programs provide a way to synchronize their data between computers, or at least export it. Use Google Fonts in Word. Use FaceTime on Android Signal vs. Customize the Taskbar in Windows What Is svchost. Best Smartwatches. Best Gaming Laptops. Best Smart Displays. Best Home Security Systems.

Thank you very much for making it easy to understand. How would this be possible? Edit: as suggested by Simon Fraser below I am using Spyder 3. The Jedi package fixed this for Jedi 0. But conda still does not have Jedi 0. It looks like there's a setting in Jedi The module that gives your editor autocompletion hints to move the cache directory.
Since you're not using Linux, the environment variable won't help. Find where your editor has its settings for Jedi, and change that option The question tag hints it might be Spyder, but you don't say for sure.
You may need to move the contents of that Jedi directory to the new location, if it doesn't work the first time, so don't delete them straight away. Stack Overflow for Teams — Collaborate and share knowledge with a private group. Create a free Team What is Teams? Collectives on Stack Overflow.
