Ou tcu game 2013

Pachall erased some of a deficit built on his mistakes with a 4-yard touchdown run and a yard scoring pass to Josh Doctson. The first scoring drive was kept alive when Baylor safety Ahmad Dixon was penalized for targeting and ejected after hitting Trevone Boykin with his helmet on a third-down incompletion.

Patterson said a coach from the Baylor sideline came across the field to yell at him after Dixon was thrown out. He never specified which coach. The two interceptions returned for scores came in a span of just four passes from Pachall, who was 20 of 45 for yards and two scores. Stewart jumped an out route and went 82 yards after a slipping tackle from Carter, and Lackey stepped in front of a slant and ran untouched 54 yards to put Baylor up Catalon ran into the back of one of his linemen at the 10 and fumbled.

Beau Blackshear recovered at the 1. After Pachall's first scoring pass made it , Baylor went back up 10 when Petty completed a yard pass to Clay Fuller on third down, then found Levi Norwood on a yard score. Petty had yards passing. Pachall fooled Stewart with a pump fake for an easy yard score to David Porter on the first play of the fourth quarter to make it As should be expected, we are still a work in progress on offense. Still light years ahead of where we were last year, but we need to make steady improvement going forward.

Even though we lost on Saturday, we had some good numbers overall as we rushed for yards and 5 yards per carry. Passing we had over yards and averaged Overall we averaged 7 yards per play.

In comparison TCU averaged 7. Our offensive line did a pretty good job as they opened up nice holes for Smith and Ebner and gave up only 1 sack. Defensively our pass rush was ineffective and the secondary got torched.

We are definitely a different team at home and I do think this will play in our favor on Saturday. Part of game maturity is bouncing back from a big loss. I see no reason for our team to not be focused and up for OU. After what they experienced in Fort Worth, they should have a fire in their belly and a chip on their shoulder. Both our offense and defense have something to prove against OU. Seth McGowan is close.

There is no ifs, ands or buts about it. Austin Stogner had one drop and had a tough time keeping defenders off of him. Missing a block on a run will hurt his grade, too, but the future is so bright from him.

Mims and Wease made big catches. Rambo had a couple big catches, but I thought he had the opportunity to catch one of the deep passes. The juggling at left tackle remains a mystery, but the overall group is close. The Sooners sustained drives a couple times, but for the most part, the success came on a couple big plays which hindered seeing more production from the entire game. The offensive line took a step forward while the H-back group took a small step back.

I actually feel pretty good about this grade. The offense is scratching the surface of what it is going to become finally. Minus the turnovers in Ames, Iowa, the two performances are pretty similar. I thought Jordan Kelley had a really nice game again and Kori Roberson continues to come along nicely. Noticed both of these guys at one point or another.

Surprising impact production out of Stokes and Ellison so far in
